“Good morning, it is time for the Thursday, December 7, 2023, edition of the AM Grind. My name is Patrick Rafferty and I'm your host this morning on America Mission's start your day off right X space. I'm excited to have Ms. Carol and Walter with me to help facilitate our time together.
Yesterday we spent a lot of time talking about how technology and immigration are directly impacting the American labor market. Most notably, the positive impacts of technology have made us all tremendously wealthy in the West, but with that wealth has come a redefining of what it means to be an American. Where once we valued hard work, risk taking, and meritocracy, we see the full court press of late Roman era decadence that is left wing authoritarianism / communism taking hold, and we've sat by and watched as our kids became lazier and less happy, and our society frayed.
But you're here, which means, you are aware, you are AWAKE to the challenges we face.
In the course of that in depth and passionate conversation, we continue to find ourselves at a place where we all know the path the nation is headed down, is a dark one. It is anti-human, anti-God, anti-family, and ALL woke, leftist, totalitarian, and exactly what our founders and so many Americans have fought and died to protect Americans and the world from. Last night's Republican Primary Debate (Replay Hour 1 and Hour 2) featured Vivek, Nikkie Haley, Ron DeSantis, and that other guy. And I have to say I was impressed that both Ron and Vivek sounded a lot like me. And Nikki Haley and that other guy, sounded a lot like the people who have led us to this place. Sadly, President Trump was not at the debate to lend his powerful voice, but, I know with either he, Ron DeSantis, or Vivek in the White House, or hopefully all three working in concert in an an administration, that we can start to right the course of the ship of America.
To do that, we need more leaders like the ones of not too long ago. I am not sure our current society can produce a George Washington, a John Adams, or a James Madison, but I am certain we have Ronald Reagan's, John F. Kennedy's, George H.W. Bush's, and a Nixon or two, oh, and a Donald J. Trump.
As today is #PhilosophyOfThursday, and I want to talk about some of our choices at the top, but more importantly, I want to talk about the individuals in Congress that have primary challengers as Republicans and Democrats. I think there are some great leaders in this nation, we just must find and elevate them, because no matter who is at the top in the White House, they must have soldiers in Congress to support the policies they wish to implement, and to hold them accountable.

Three take-aways from today’s AMGrind:
Our Congress are completely useless, sniveling, weak and unprincipled, with a very small group of exceptions, one of which is James Comer of Kentucky. Another, perhaps is Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia. I encourage everyone to watch @TuckerCarlson interviews released this week for these two individuals, and ask yourself, why are there only two? Perhaps we all need to consider whether we are the next Frank Church, the next Comer or MTG, and if we are ready to take on the challenge and the associated risks and run for office.
Or at a minimum, get engaged, and you can do so by getting involved with @AmericaMission by completed the subscribing and joining our volunteer efforts.
On the anniversary of Pearl Harbor, I encourage us all to remember the veterans in our life and especially those who are no longer with us. Their sacrifice should be a beacon of hope to us all, and an inspiration as we look for the next Ronald Reagan, the next JFK, the next Frank Church, the next RFK to go to DC, and to go into our government, and to lead with principle and purpose.
