“Good morning, it is Wednesday, January 10, 2024, and this is YOUR #AMGrind. My name is Patrick, and I'm your host for this Monday through Friday get your day started off right space from America Mission. I'm excited to have Ms. Carol and, I expect, Walter here with us this morning and hopefully Pat Riotism. Today on #WorkingManWednesday we're going to talk about how hard work pays dividends (usually) and, in that context, what happens to the working "man" when malfeasance and/or incompetence like what we saw with BTC ETFs yesterday impacts us all.
Yesterday we had a great space where we talked a bit about the National Championship game and NIL payments, and I hope none of them are playing with leverage with all the NIL money. Also, a little later Dante took us down the rabbit hole on the Freeman Spogli Institute and all of its connections across parties and organizations as it drives much of the malfeasance we see amongst our so-called elites. Tying that in with Walter's work on DISARM and we find ourselves really needing to understand how "they" coordinate so effectively, and how we can do the same.
Since it is officially an election year, we can't ignore next weeks start to the primary season, nor can we ignore the corruption in our judicial system. So, that story we've been talking about all week with the GA DA Fani Willis, who, I think is just an everyday trollop, is gaining traction. Also Ron DeSantis had a solid town hall on Fox yesterday. And, if anybody missed it, Vivek on the road in IA is hilarious.
And, as I alluded to at the very beginning, working men and women deserve the ability to rely on their regulatory bodies like the SEC and CFTC to do what is right for them, to protect the little guy. Yesterday's abject failure to do that by Gary Gensler's operation is more than "just another incompetent act by an incompetent administration". No, he's got to resign, and take everyone else who was so useless with him. That's the only way this gets fixed.”
